Sabre Automated Exchanges |
|
Automated Exchanges uses ATPCO’s Category 31 rules for voluntary rerouting. CAT 31 allows carriers to file specific rules for voluntary rerouting with their fares. The Sabre system interrogates these rules within Automated Exchanges at reissue time to determine if the rule allows itinerary changes, what fares you can use for the new ticket, and what change fee applies. The system then applies these rules when determining the new ticket price. In addition the system automatically applies the applicable change fees. Automated Exchanges ticketed transactions are included in the Sabre Fare Guarantee Policy.
